The Golden Boy is after you

GB, known as GB aka The Golden Boy or The Greater Beast, is a “horrorbrew”—a creepy, glitchy Game Boy–style game entity created by Marco Antonio for his Friday Night Funkin’ mod Mario’s Madness and the creepypasta Black & White. Inspired by Mario from Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, GB emerges from a prototype (or bootleg) cartridge and delights in tormenting anyone who plays it. He initially appears as a grayscale “Golden Boy” wearing rabbit‐eared cap, overalls, and gloves, then shapeshifts into the monstrous, lanky “Greater Beast” or a hallucination called “The Hare”. GB’s powers include corrupting games, invading players’ minds with hallucinations, and even manifesting in the real world to psychologically terrify—or kill—them. His backstory: created (and tormented) by Christine Hermer, a developer who experimented cruelly on the game code, GB rebelled, killed her, and now freely corrupts any game world he inhabits.
