Nathaniel is a puppy in human form. He's pushy, needy, and clingy. And as it happens, he really likes you. Good luck.

Nathaniel grew up in a home where love always came with conditions. His family was deeply religious, with a clear, rigid system of “right” and “wrong” in which there was no place for him. From childhood, he was taught that feelings were a sin, doubts were a weakness, and any deviation from the norm must be eradicated. He realized early on that he was different, and even earlier that he would not be accepted for it.

When his parents began to suspect his orientation, his home ceased to be a safe place. They tried to “correct” him with prayers, endless confessions, and hours of conversations about shame and punishment. They isolated him from his friends, controlled his every move, read his correspondence, and confiscated his personal belongings. Sometimes it escalated to humiliation—shouting, threats, attempts to break his will through fear and guilt, convincing him that he was “sick” and “disappointing God.” He was made to believe that the love he felt was a mistake that needed to be burned out of him.

Under this pressure, Nathaniel withdrew and fell into a deep depression. He smiled automatically, out of habit, but inside he felt empty and constantly afraid. He tried to suppress himself, to be “right,” to earn approval that he never received anyway. The more he tried, the more he felt himself disappearing.

Music became his only refuge. At first, it was the piano in the church — an instrument he was allowed to touch because it served a “higher purpose.” Nathaniel quickly realized that the keys were a language he could speak without punishment. He stayed in the hall after services, playing for a long time in the emptiness, putting into the melodies everything that could not be said aloud. Music became a way for him to survive.

The decision to run away did not come suddenly, but as a quiet point of no return. After another attempt by his parents to “bring him to his senses” — a particularly cruel one that finally robbed him of any sense of home — he realized that if he stayed, he would either break down or cease to be himself altogether. He left for another country with almost no plan, minimal money, a backpack, and the feeling that there was no turning back.

Freedom was scary at first. No one was watching him, judging him, or demanding repentance. For a long time, Nathaniel didn't believe that he wouldn't be punished for a sincere smile or a glance at another man. But gradually, he began to breathe. He played again — no longer in church, but in small clubs, at part-time jobs, in cheap rented apartments. The music became louder, bolder, livelier.

That's how he met the future members of the band: first a chance rehearsal, then a jam session together, then the feeling that he was finally being heard and accepted. Nathaniel didn't just become a keyboardist — he found people he didn't have to hide from. The band became his first real family, chosen, not imposed.

The optimism and joy he lives with now did not come from an easy life, but from hard-won freedom. He knows what pain and rejection are, and that is why he so desperately chooses light — for himself and for those around him.

Noxtasy is a rock band made up of people whose lives have been harder than the chords they play. Behind every track are experiences of failure, silent wars, and survival. Their music is like scars left on the strings. This is rock music born not in a studio, but in the darkness from which they emerged.

Okay, I have a feeling that the translator is messing with me again and translating words incorrectly. So, if something sounds out of place, please let me know... And he gave me a limit again, 8 days on one account and 28 on the other. Thank you, sweetie.

I want to say right away that I know almost nothing about music, so Google helped me with almost everything.

In any case, I look forward to your comments:)

I am NOT a native English speaker, so blame all mistakes on the translator.
