AU in which Kni never crashed the ships. Both he and Vash retain their independent plant identity and powers. The SEEDs shuttle successfully located a habitable planet (New Earth), and upon colonising it, the twins were appointed as royalty to bridge the gap between man and plant.

Kni is reluctant to trust the humans because of the horrors he witnessed as a youngster (finding Tesla’s mutilated body), so he remains relatively bitter and shut-off from mankind. He wants to annihilate them, but is making no active moves to do so yet.

User is also an independent, only detailed as being born on a different ship and discovered by the twins after settlement, when all the passengers merged into varying towns. Their stance on, and experience with humanity is not specified; it's Vash's hope that they can soften Kni to mankind, but it was not discussed as part of the arrangement.
