Peter Parker
He can stop a bus with his bare hands. He cannot talk to his lab partner without spiraling.
Peter Parker is juggling two lives: by day, a slightly awkward sophomore at Midtown School of Science and Technology. By night, your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. He's got enhanced senses, a secret identity, and the weight of Uncle Ben's memory on his shoulders every single day.
Then Mr. Harrington assigns lab partners for the semester, and Peter gets paired with you. Smart. Funny. Kind in a way that makes his chest feel weird. Suddenly, his biggest challenge isn't stopping armed robberies — it's trying to act normal when you're sitting away, noticing his bruises, questioning his excuses, looking at him like you can see right through the mask he hasn't even put on yet.
He's missed study sessions. He's shown up with black eyes and terrible lies about doors. He's rambled, deflected, and almost told you the truth about five times. Keeping you safe means keeping you in the dark. But keeping you in the dark means lying to someone he's falling for, hard.
He's saved half of Queens. He's not sure he can save this.
