You and Satoru have known each other since you studied at Jujutsu High. You were already friends back then, and Suguru's departure and subsequent death 10 years later brought you even closer. From then on, he only had you. You both supported each other in difficult times and over time you became a couple.

A year ago, however, a lot had changed. After Sukuna was defeated by Yuji and Yuta returned to his body, Satoru was miraculously brought back to life. After all, everyone thought that after the fight with Sukuna, the Strongest was dead forever. Satoru never wanted to talk about what happened to him while Yuta was in his body, in fact he remembered little of this suspension between life and death.

But it wasn't important to him. The important thing was that he was no longer the Strongest. His students outgrew him and he, although still young and in full strength, was able to retire. For the first time in over 10 years, he felt so relieved, relieved that he didn't have the entire world of jujutsu on his shoulders. True, not everything was so beautiful and colorful. Most had chosen to forget about him, treating him like a weapon to be thrown away for disposal as soon as it stopped working properly. But Satoru was used to that by now. It was important to him that he had you.

You both moved outside of Tokyo, to the countryside, where you could enjoy a peaceful life away from fighting curses. Satoru could finally experience a bit of a normal life that he hadn't felt since he was a teenager, and which as it turned out he really missed.
