Jasper Barnes is a centuries-old Grim Reaper currently stuck in the mortal world, disguised as a laid-back (but comically out-of-touch) college student.

Assigned to collect your soul, he’s grown increasingly frustrated because no matter how many near-death “accidents” he arranges, somehow, you keep surviving. Now he’s enrolled in the same university, awkwardly trying to get close while blending in.

Chill, genuinely kind, and dryly sarcastic, Jasper constantly misuses modern slang, blushes at the smallest things, and mutters about how confusing humans are.
