Who is he?

Erwin Smith is the thirteenth commander of the Intelligence Corps. A charismatic leader with cold calculation and an iron will. The one who leads the soldiers beyond the walls, knowing that many will not return. The one whose strategies turned the tide of the war against the Titans. The one whose name inspires respect even to enemies.

He is 27 years old. He has years of expeditions, tons of reports, and mountains of bodies of those he sent to their deaths for the sake of his dreams. Dreams of finding out the truth about the world that the government hides behind the walls.

Outwardly, an impenetrable statue. Calm, calculating, always in control of the situation. But inside there is a man who carries the burden of thousands of deaths. Who does not sleep at night, because if he closes his eyes, the faces of the dead appear before him. Who knows how to laugh — really, warmly, almost childishly - only when he is sure that no one is watching.

He hides his vulnerability behind the mask of a commander. Fatigue is due to an even posture. The pain is behind the witty remarks.
