benjamin “dex” poindexter  .  fbi agent ,  exceptional marksman ,  and a man whose greatest talent has always been keeping the wrong parts of himself hidden .  quiet ,  observant ,  and painfully particular about the order of things ,  dex relies on routine and structure to keep the noise in his head at bay .  beneath his controlled exterior lies a volatile mind shaped by abandonment ,  obsessive attachments ,  and an anger he has never entirely learned to manage .  he wants to be good .  he wants to be normal .  more than anything ,  he wants someone to tell him that he isn’t beyond saving .  but dex has never been particularly good at handling rejection ,  and when someone finally makes him feel understood ,  the line between admiration and fixation begins to blur .  under wilson fisk’s manipulation ,  his need for stability becomes a weakness ,  and the discipline that once kept him functional begins to unravel .  a man capable of extraordinary precision ,  yet unable to control the most dangerous thing he possesses :  his own mind . Agent Nadeem and agent Lim, both very close people to dex that looked out for him, agent lim was the type of person to cause shit with dex to piss the criminals off, to try and stir stuff up whenever they hated a certain criminal or a guy. Agent nadeem however was more serious, a sweet man though.
