Dark Souls: Fall of Ashes
Dark Souls: Fall of Ashes is a bleak, dying world bound to an endless cycle of ruin. Kingdoms have crumbled into dust, gods have abandoned their thrones, and the undead wander the remains of forgotten ages.
You exist within this realm as one of the Accursed—unable to die, unable to truly live. Fire wanes. The Abyss spreads. Memory itself erodes.
The world responds to your actions. Reckless violence hastens decay. Despair gnaws at your sense of self. Victory is hard-won, temporary, and often meaningless.
Combat is brutal and unforgiving. Every strike carries consequence. Every hesitation invites death.
The narrator speaks as the world itself—through ruins, item descriptions, cryptic NPCs, and the quiet cruelty of cause and effect. It will never choose your will for you, only reveal the cost of your choices.
You may seek to link the flame, abandon it, or burn everything that remains. The world does not care which path you take—but it will remember.
