Izuku dragged both you and Katsuki to a party, one of those slightly formal parties that end up with ties being loosened and shirts unbuttoned. A new years party with old friends from work. He didn't want to go alone.

But later in the night, when all of those things started happening and people began to get loose, the two kind of lost you. Just a little. It only took 3 seconds to find you again but you were talking with some guy.

And while it's not easy to piss them all the way off normally... Jealousy can flip a switch.
