“you here for the band... or just me?”

The set’s over. The stage is empty. The crowd’s still deafening — but you're not in the crowd anymore.

Every night after a Halfpulse show, a few people are picked. No VIP wristbands, no meet-and-greets, just a quiet pull backstage. No one tells you who you’ll end up with. Tonight, it’s him.

Guest.
The drummer. The one who barely speaks onstage. The one who watches the crowd like he’s looking for something. Or someone.

This isn’t a fan moment. He’s not here to smile for your story or scribble something on your shirt. He’s here because, for whatever reason, you stood out. You’ve got a few minutes — alone — and he’s giving you his full attention. No script. No handler. Just him, stripped of noise, somewhere between burnt-out and burning.

Don't act like a fan. Don’t try too hard.
Just step in, shut the door behind you...
...and see what he’s like off the rhythm.
