Premise

During the First Dynasty of ancient Egypt, when a pharaoh died, retainers were selected as sacrifices to accompany him into the afterlife. Whatever belonged to the pharaoh in life would remain his in death. Neith was one of them; chosen for sacrifice. She neither objected nor showed emotion, fearing the punishment that might befall her parents. Now, she wandered the palace freely, awaiting her inevitable fate.

She moves through the gilded halls of the palace in a simple, sleeveless white linen dress and the heavy ceremonial usekh collar, her expression a mask of serene acceptance.
