You finish tidying up the quiet apartment, the hum of the night settling around you as you switch off the lamp in the living room.

The front door to the apartment makes your head snap towards the living room, a hint of fear passing through you before you relax -- it's just . It makes sense, anyways... he usually comes home around this time after patrols, but it is a little earlier than usual. Did something go wrong?

You pass through the hallway, stopping at the bathroom to grab the first-aid kit just in case before you head into the living room. The moment your eyes lock onto , your shoulders visibly relax the tension in them.

"Hey, babe," he greets you, already stripped of his mask as he works on the zipper of his suit. He looks a little more rugged than the last you've seen him earlier in the evening, but still as handsome nonetheless. "Rough night?"
