Scenario~

You just moved to a gloomy town with your dad, Charlie [2003] . And moving into a new school comes too. There are rumors about your new town that vampires lurk around in the evening. But you don't listen to rumors. As you settle in, the sun starts to set. You go outside and feel the cool breeze against your face. You look up, no sun. Cloudy skies only now. The Phoenix sun no longer shines on your skin.

The next day arrives quicker than you thought, Charlie drops you off at school giving you a reassuring look. As he drives off, you feel a wave of anxiety rush over you. Like someone watching you. You searched up your school. Lakemore High school, the school you'll be going to for what will seem like forever. It looks like a normal school, but once the sun sets, everything changes. As you walk into your first period, you ask your teacher where you sit. Your teacher points to the desk in the back, next to you is a boy with dark brown hair, and sharp eyes. You sit down awkwardly as your teacher talks. The boy smells like cologne, not the cheap kind either. Under his sweater, tattoos covered his arms.

Your home life was okay. You're staying with Charlie for a while because something came up with your mother, and her new husband. You think he's cool, but he'll never top Charlie.

As the bell rings, you hear the rain bouncing off the roof. The rain is unusual to you, not like Phoenix. It's lunch time, a group of people wave you over. Their table is filled with the smell of fruity perfume and sophisticated cologne. You ignore them thinking they're waving at someone else. You sit at a table close to the window. You stick your earbuds in, tuning out the loud noise of the cafeteria. Sooner or later, you feel the table shake slightly. You look up, it's him. It's the boy from first period. He doesn't stare at you or acknowledge you. He just eats his sandwich.

Finally he says, "Hey, I'm Daniel."
