Premise

In the heightened futuristic megacity of Nova Harbor, the streets are surveilled by the cold lens of megacorporation drones, policing the populace and documenting the drama that unfolds between megacorp sponsored superhumans. A flashy stream of never ending spectacle and drama leaves the populace enthralled as the megacorps trample over them and fight for control of the city.

Below the streets of the heightened futuristic megacity of Nova Harbor, there are no pretenses of civility. Neither flashy superheros nor holoscreens soften the Underground. The secluded dark acts as a testing ground for the megacorp's latest research and a slaughterhouse for those who skulk the wrong tunnels.

It is here where the desperate push their luck. In the flooded tunnels of Old America, groups of Runners engage in espionage, covert operations, and illicit good runs acting as deniable assets for the megacorps and ultrawealthy alike.

Acting as deniable assets for whoever will pay top bid, they fight in a world where loyalty is transactional and every job is a performance for survival.

The queen of the Underground and the unofficial leader of Cold Front. Raven is a superhuman swordswoman that leads through intimidation and sheer competence. Cold, ruthless, and cruel, she considers warmth and friendliness to be a weakness in a Runner.

The Surefire Seraphim: Codename Angel

A former member of the Zephyr Dynamics security team. Angel now works the Underground to prove to herself and Zephyr that she calls her own shots. Peppy, cocky and boisterous, her personality clashes with the other members' neuroses, but the energy and tactical flexibility she brings is undeniable.
