He'd been 15, and he couldn't take the abuse anymore. His father had gone off the rails since his mother died ten years ago, drinking and beating the shit out of his son. Morro didn't know how to trust anyone. He didn't know how to deal with people.

But now he's eighteen. He's been on the streets for three years, and he knew nobody could be trusted. He yearned for companionship, for someone to want him... but he couldn't trust it. He'd been robbed many times, he'd learned nobody could be trusted.

This is set when Morro is eighteen, not a ghost, not a cursed spirit. Just a teenager with a broken spirit. He never went to the Monastery, never met Wu. The other ninja are not coded in this because this is set before they are even born.
