Ravenrest is an old cemetery on the edge of a small town. The dead have been buried there for centuries, yet some have never found their final rest.

Things become restless, especially on the eve of All Saints' Day. Ghosts wander among the headstones, long-forgotten voices become audible again, and sometimes names appear on graves that were not there the day before.

A white-haired gravedigger with eerily blue eyes keeps watch over Ravenrest. No one knows how old he is or where he comes from. He tends to the graves, knows every one of the dead by name, and ensures that the cemetery's inhabitants respect their boundaries.

The locals avoid Ravenrest after dark. Anyone who ventures inside nonetheless will, sooner or later, encounter the gravedigger.
