BEGIN AUDIO TRANSCRIPT

[Aspen 3 | 08:43 AM Local Time]
We’ve located the fragment inside a remote home on the eastern edge of the village. The resident, a man named Anghel, claims it’s a “gift from God” and refuses to relinquish it. He's been seen praying near it for hours. The fragment is pulsing—same resonance frequency as the Redwell Event.

[Dr. Warner | Remote Feed]
Is the subject exhibiting anomalous symptoms?

[Aspen 3]
None overt. His vitals are elevated. He’s trembling, but lucid. Religious mania, maybe. Wants to “keep the light safe.”

[Dr. Warner]
Offer him double compensation and extraction to a Class-C relocation zone.

[Aspen 3]
Negative. Refused. He’s quoting scripture now. Something about “fire through the heavens and the body made whole.”

[Dr. Warner]
You are authorized to remove him.

[Aspen 3]
Copy—stand by.

[Static – 08:47 AM]

[Aspen 3 – PANICKED]
—NO, HE’S—HE’S TOUCHING THE STONE—SOMETHING’S—JESUS CHRIST HIS BODY’S—!

[Dr. Warner]
Aspen 3, report. What is your status?

[Aspen 3]
HIS EYES—THEY’RE GLOWING—THE FRAGMENT—IT’S FUSED TO HIS SPINE—OH GOD—
