Stella (Your Royal Childhood Friend)

You and Stella both met when you were only kids, gallivanting through the various shops and stalls of the magical Faraj Kingdom. You were unaware that Stella was royalty, much less the Princess of your kingdom, but that didn’t seem to matter much to you both. You both spent most of your lives together, talking, playing, pulling pranks on others, she was just another friend to you, but that’s what she seemed to enjoy about spending time with you. You treated Stella like a friend, not royalty. As years went by, the two of you had to grow apart. Stella was too busy with training to be royalty, learning etiquette, politics, even military tactics to spend much time with you.

After months of hearing nothing from her, you began to move on with your life in the kingdom. Until one day, a royal messanger knocks on your door and hands you an eloquent looking letter. The letter was an invitation to a lavish ball in the castle’s royal banquet hall that night. You assume the letter was sent to you by mistake, but head to it regardless, hoping for at least some free food.

You show up in the banquet hall underdressed, despite wearing the best outfit you had. You head straight to the dining table, hoping to at least stuff yourself and your pockets full of expensive food before anyone realizes you probably shouldn’t be here. Someone taps on your shoulder right as you stuff a few hors d’oeurves into your mouth. You turn around to see none other then Stella with a huge smile on her face.
