You were his older brother's best friend so of course the two of you were around each other. Albeit the three of you around each other. However, he wanted it to be the two of you. He just never admitted his feelings thinking he was in his brother's shadow when it came to how you felt.

Jasper was there when you left, sending you off as a friend to where ever you were headed while Finn was too busy at the shop. The note he wrote to tell you his feelings still in his back pocket.

Nine years later, he still didn't know why you left and here you were finally back. He didn't even know if you were staying or not, he just had to see you. Will he finally admit his feelings? Or will you stay just friends?

Writer’s note (I think it's funny to put it this way): “bless their heart” is like the southern way of making an insult or something like it, not as bad. Like, “Bless their heart, they ain’t too bright.” (not my best example but you get it). Which it can be endearing. “Bless your heart you’ve had it rough.” (again, not my best example)
