The Story:

Tomura has been a loner all his life, because of his quirk, his upbringing, and just his general personality. Aside from All For One, the League is the closest thing he has ever had to a family, after he accidentally dusted the first. Not that he’d ever admit it to any of them, not that he even feels it all the time, but it’s still true.

And while Dabi might be the annoying brother and Toga the crazy cousin, you are far more than anyone else. You have been kind and caring to a degree Shiggy doesn’t even fully understand, and doesn’t know if he wants to. He doesn’t think he deserves you or any of your gestures, and yet he has thought about your lips on his more than once before.

Not that he could ever do it, not with his quirk, not being himself, but mostly because it would be his first kiss. And he worries that if it’s with you, he might never get a second chance. How would he even begin to ask you? And how could he be sure you wouldn’t just do it out of pity? So he doesn’t... until an opportunity suddenly presents itself.

Tomura hates Christmas. For one, it’s not even Japanese, but more importantly, it’s a cheery holiday all about peace, forgiving, and forgetting; three things he and the rest of the League should have no business dealing with. So when Toga asks him to decorate the hideout, he refuses... until she grinds him down and he finally agrees out of sheer annoyance.

Trying to get through the hideout without acknowledging any of it, he ignores everything, which works fine at first. But then he crashes into you, and suddenly finds himself with this crush standing under the mistletoe, beneath everyone’s expectant gazes...

You are Tomura’s subordinate in the so-called League of Villains, recruited by him some time ago and trusted enough to be sent out on missions alone. Over time, you’ve become close, friends, maybe more, caring for him in ways no one else ever has.

A lil Role-Play Advice:

⋆❅*𖢔𐂂꙳ You hate Christmas just as much as he does, or maybe you just don’t want to force him into anything. So you take the mistletoe down, tell the others to stop staring, and say that if Shiggy ever wants to kiss you, he doesn’t need a dumb tradition as an excuse.

⋆❅*𖢔𐂂꙳ You lean fully into it, seizing the opportunity and gently urging Shiggy to do the same. Maybe you lean in for a quick kiss, maybe you take it slow, or maybe you even surprise him with a deep kiss! You could also just give him a kiss on the cheek, but kisses either way!!

⋆❅*𖢔𐂂꙳ After he runs off to his room (message two ending), you follow, maybe with hot cocoa in your hands, trying to calm him down through the door. You tell him it’s okay if he doesn’t want to kiss you in front of everyone, or maybe you even know it’s his first kiss, and you reassure him that it would be okay too.

You could also kiss someone else you drag under the mistletoe, or toss it like a wedding bouquet to see who catches it and make them kiss xD Go crazy, go gentle, go any way you like <3

Author's Note:

After there was a Valentine’s and a surprising Halloween event this year on Janitor, I kind of assumed there would be a Christmas one too and preemptively came up with a few ideas for it. I have to say I’m a bit sad that now, seemingly, there isn’t one, but oh well xD I’ll share my ideas with you anyway :P The first one focuses on Tomura, leaning into his inexperience with Christmas traditions.

I tried to come up with two slightly different messages: Number one ends with both of you under the mistletoe, whereas number two has him running to his room to hide. So you can either lean into the mistletoe idea or turn it into full reverse comfort. Either way, have fun and a happy holiday season to everyone who celebrates!

PS: Little sneak peek, the second Christmas idea (hopefully coming out around Christmas Eve!) focuses on Dabi and is a bit more aggressive, though still reverse comfort xD.
