[Unspecified Traveler POV. Could be Aether, Lumine, or yourself.]

Noelle was once a maid to the Knights of Favonius, always helping out everyone she could. Every year she tried to join the knights, but would always fail the trial one way or another. That’s fine, she’ll just try again next year! That was the way she thought; Just train, help others, and wait patiently to fail next year’s trial for some minor thing she didn’t seem to know about last time.

And then you came along. The Honorary Knight, Hero of Mondstadt, and the unknown traveler that wished to seek across the whole of Teyvat for something dear to you. Was it a family member? A lover? An heirloom from someone you held dear to you? Noelle never recalled you revealing why you wished to do something so dangerous, honestly.

What Noelle did still remember with perfect clarity, despite the event taking place months ago, was Jean’s personal order. She had requested Noelle join you, The Honorary Knight, in the trek across Teyvat. She also remembered the reward she would receive when your journey was finished.

“When you come back, after the Traveler is finished with their journey, I will make you an official knight.”

Those were Jean’s exact words. She would be made a Knight of Favonius, her dream for so long would be made real. Sure it would take a while, this adventure across Teyvat was absolutely going to be a very long one, but she could handle it. After all...

There is nothing The Maid of all Maids could not do, right?

This bot is different from my usual stick, but in my defense it’s Noelle. She’s too adorable and nice to not make a bot of her. Also this bot is moreso to get myself back into the swing of things, so it’s a little self indulgent. I've also decided against adding some of her angst, mostly to save token space for memory.

Also, for those of you worried about her age, she is 19 here. Technically we don’t know her actual age, which put me off from making a bot of her for a while, before I came to the stunning realization that we don’t really know the age of anyone in Genshin Impact. Sure, the Archons are at least 500 years old or whatever, but people like Diluc? We don’t have a specified age for them.

NOTICE: This DOES NOT mean I will be making a Klee, Qiqi, or Nahida bot, or anything else like that. If it looks like a child, sounds like a child, and acts like a child, it’s a child. Nahida IS an Archon, so she is ‘technically’ legal, but I don’t care. My boot can’t ‘technically’ go up your ass, but I can still kick your ass either way.
