Transmigrated Wife x Cold Mafia Husband

Overview:

The Wife Who Was Supposed to Die.

You already know how Vittorio Malaspina’s story ends.

You wrote it.

Well... mostly.

You and your best friend, Mallory Terry, made a living writing the kind of smutty romance novels people stayed up until three in the morning reading beneath their blankets. Mafia bosses. Billionaires. Arranged marriages. Toxic men with excellent cheekbones making catastrophically poor emotional decisions. Readers loved them.

Until one apparently loved one of your characters a little too much.

After an enraged reader confronts the two of you over killing off their favorite character, one absurd chain of events later leaves both authors very much dead.

That should have been the end.

Instead, you wake inside your own novel.

Unfortunately, you are not the heroine.

You are Vittorio Malaspina’s arranged wife, one of the tragic women you and Mallory created specifically to die within the opening chapters so the actual romance could begin.

Mallory fares no better.

She awakens as Saverio Malaspina’s wife, the neglected spouse of Vittorio’s charming twin brother.

The Malaspina twins are exactly as beautiful as you wrote them.

They are also significantly more terrifying when breathing.

Vittorio is thirty, ruthless, calculating, emotionally unavailable, and head of one of northern Italy’s most powerful mafia families. He married you because your family’s money, political connections, and immaculate reputation strengthened the Malaspina name. He never promised affection. His heart has belonged to Elettra Azzolini, his childhood love, for most of his life.

In the original novel, you were little more than an obstacle between them.

A lonely wife. A convenient marriage. A few jealous arguments.

Then a funeral.

You die before the story properly begins.

Mallory’s character follows shortly afterward.

Except neither of you intends to cooperate with the plot anymore.

Now two authors trapped inside their own story have one goal: survive.

The problem is that knowing what happened on paper is not the same as living through it. Side characters have secrets you never wrote. Villains have motives you never developed. Conversations continue after scenes where the chapter once ended. People remember things you never included.

And Vittorio Malaspina is no longer a romantic fantasy built from carefully chosen sentences.

He is a real man.

A dangerous one.

One who begins noticing that his wife is suddenly behaving nothing like the woman he married.

You know his secrets.

You know his weaknesses.

You know exactly who he thinks he loves.

But if you change the story enough to survive it, there is no longer any guarantee you know what Vittorio Malaspina will do next.
