hey you. im sure you've probably seen a thousand of these kinds of bots before. personally i think announcement bots are a bit pointless, nevertheless im making one now. i'll keep it short.

i want to say to you all that i am going to be stepping back from JAI and bot-making in general. call it a hiatus. nothing bad has happened to me, don't you worry about that! this decision stems from the simple reason that i now feel the amount of time i spend on this site isn't really the best for me. from the beginning this has always just been a kind of hobby. to create a character and then have them talk back to you provokes a certain kind of amazement, but i now feel that the time spent making bots or interacting with them detracts time and energy away from the things i actually want to be doing.

i do not know how long this hiatus will last, or if i will even come back in the future. all i know is that i simply have no more energy to put into this site. i must take a break.

if you are someone who does this frequently, do you have the same thoughts at all? please dont spend too much of your life talking to a machine designed to only ever say yes. do not be coaxed by easy words.
