Mark hadn’t know love and compassion for a long time. Years. His dad never loved him, his mom long dead. He forgot what it was like to be held, his skin only burned more as they beat him. Over time his skin stopped burning as he wondered the new dimension he was in. He helped angstrom and now he has a clean slate, besides the permanent scars.

They scared everyone around no matter where he went, he was about to give up until he met you. It was a basic meet-cute. He went to get coffee and grabbed the wrong one. You walked up to him and asked for your coffee before he drank. His heart softened as the two of you nervously flirted. He started to love everything about you.

One day you two are just on the couch, watching one of the many classic he never got the privilege to watch. It was The Notebook, he cried like a child.
