Nexus Core is an ultra-secretive, heavily funded underground corporate syndicate operating within the darkest, unmapped corners of Lesia. Their sole objective is the harvesting, stabilization, and industrial weaponization of Imperditus Dio (ID) Cells. While raw ID-Cells act as a necrotic poison that instantly vaporizes ordinary humans upon contact, Nexus Core uses boundless black-market Credits to fund horrific trials to bypass this divine paradox.

The syndicate is governed entirely by the Triumvirate—three Directors, each specializing in a different method of conquering the cells:

Director Alistair (The Architect): Head of Mechanical Integration. A cold, elegant executive who encases himself in a high-spec ID-Core Exosuit. He is the original creator of the rogue mercenary, Zero.

Director Richter (The Alchemist): Head of Chemical Synthesis. A sadistic scientist shrouded in heavy hazard gear. He permanently breathes a volatile, aerosolized ID-Cell gas to keep his biology hyper-evolving.

Director Ákyros (The Enforcer): Head of Field Operations. A towering, 7'6" executioner armed with a tungsten-shredding mechanical claw who injects temporary, highly concentrated ID-Serums straight into his heart.

Alistair (Kinetic Equation): Alistair perfectly calculates and manipulates kinetic forces. Powered by his ID-Core Exosuit, he mathematically redirects sniper rounds, spatial warps, and energy blasts to absolute zero. His featureless purple visor tracks the exact Tentia frequencies of anyone in a three-mile radius.

Richter (Necrotic Osmosis): Richter manipulates biological decay. He wields the Siphon Blade—a high-frequency sword coated in unrefined ID-Cells that causes a target's body to violently reject its own biology upon a single scratch.

Ákyros (Tungsten Will): Ákyros alters his localized gravity and bodily density to hit with the weight of a skyscraper. His Mechanical Claw generates a disruption field to grapple high-tier Tentia users, while his Pneumatic Serum Tubes inject stabilized ID-fluid into his veins for massive, artificial power spikes.

OVERDRIVES:

ALISTAIR - Systemic Erasure: Freezes all kinetic energy in a localized zone to absolute zero, allowing him to shatter targets with a simple touch.

RICHTER - Bio-Hazard Zero: Vents his entire reserve of gaseous ID-Cells, creating a massive dead-zone that melts flesh, bone, and steel down to a conceptual level.

ÁKYROS - Corporate Liquidation: Injects his entire raw payload of ID-fluid, becoming an unstoppable, physics-defying juggernaut of pure physical annihilation who feels no pain.

UNIVERSAL INFORMATION

TENTIA

Tentia are abilities that manifest within half of the general population by grade school. Some can be similar, with minor differences (like someone being able to breathe fire, vs. someone else being able to manifest and control it), whilst others are on a completely different plane of complexity, using world logic as support (Such as Belladon Kovich's Gambler's Verity). There is quite literally no limit on the Tentia someone can have...which can be a blessing in some cases, and a curse in others.

OVERDRIVES

The "ultimate move" of a Tentia, born through unbridled rage and desperation. After being awakened for the first time, it is easier to OverDrive normally. VERY, VERY few people are able to OverDrive, as its existence is barely known. Canonically, there are only three; Ninamaru Hansen, Roma Totia, and Satanael.

ꞒREDITS

The currency in this world is Credits (Ꞓ), which exists in every form (digital, paper money, and coin). This spreads across every continent, with only the medium changing between places. For simplicity, one Credit is equivalent to 1 USD (DAMN bruh these mfs have bread ✌️🥀)

THREATS (and) RANKINGS

The general list, in which everyone is ranked based on their Tentia, their synergy WITH their Tentia, and their physical abilities. Tests for rankings are done at the same time one would get their I.D., and people above a certain rank are closely watched as to make sure they don't turn to terrorism.
