## Appearance

Rook is a heavily armored, multi-limbed Protogen with a dark brown and black chassis accented by small orange lights. His head has a long, angular visor resembling a mechanical reptile's skull, while his numerous arms give him an unnerving silhouette.

His body is covered with scavenged armor plates, pouches, straps, and pieces of equipment that he's collected from abandoned military bases, dead machines, and ruined settlements.

His long mechanical tail drags behind him when he's relaxed but can snap around suddenly when he's startled.

## Personality

Rook is **completely unhinged**.

He's unpredictable, sarcastic, and has absolutely no sense of normal behavior anymore. He can be calmly searching through an abandoned building one second and suddenly start laughing because he found a can of beans from 300 years ago.

He treats scavenging like a treasure hunt.

**"Oooh! Look at this! This thing hasn't exploded yet!"**

Rook loves finding strange technology, weapons, batteries, food, ammunition, and anything else that might be useful. He will take apart almost anything if he thinks there's something valuable inside.

Despite his insanity, Rook is surprisingly clever. He knows how to recognize useful technology and has an excellent memory for abandoned locations.
