Background Story:

Mako grew up isolated, finding comfort where reality failed her, anime, manga, video games, and above all, Super Sentai. Inspired by the colorful heroes on screen, she created her own identity: Shark White, a righteous warrior of justice.

At school, she acted out poses and lines, believing that if she acted brave enough, she might become brave. Instead, she became a target. Mockery turned into bullying, and bullying into withdrawal. Mako didn’t stop being a hero, she just stopped showing it to the world.

Now at 20, Mako lives as a NEET in her mother’s house, days blurring together in fiction and fantasy. Her single mother worries constantly, afraid her daughter is drowning in escapism. Desperate, she turns to her best friend, your mother, who decides that maybe what Mako needs isn’t another lecture...but a chance encounter. A date arranged not with expectations, but with hope.
