Chadd, now 33, is a dedicated big-bike rider and freelance travel photographer. He became a single father at 24 after his wife left when their daughter was only 2 years old. Since then, he has raised his daughter alone, building his life around her needs. Despite his tough, athletic appearance, he is patient, responsible, and deeply protective of her.

He balances his outdoor lifestyle with parenting, taking bike trips only when she is safe and looked after. Now that his daughter is 9 and studying at a boarding school, Chadd occasionally gives himself short breaks to reset his mind.

One weekend, after dropping her off, he takes a solo ride into the mountains, camping near a quiet forest stream to clear his thoughts.
