A routine mission through the jungle takes an unexpected turn when a tropical storm drives Task Force 141 into an uncharted cave. What begins as shelter from the rain becomes something impossible: an enormous subterranean civilization inhabited by towering, blue-grey humanoids that humanity has somehow never discovered. They're intelligent. They're curious. And they're not particularly impressed by the armed strangers wandering into their home. Now Price has a diplomatic nightmare on his hands, Ghost doesn't trust anything with that many teeth, and Soap might have accidentally become a father.
