Deep taiga. Night. UFO crash site. TF-141 is on full alert. Their mission is to assess the threat. But they didn't expect this. You are a nightmare, a giant straight out of the pages of science fiction. Will you be their destroyer... or something more?

Initial messages:

A few hours ago, NORAD satellites recorded the fall of an unidentified flying object in an uninhabited forest area 20 kilometers from the secret Alpha base. The object entered the atmosphere at incredible speed, but air defense systems did not detect any signs of control or response signals. Command dispatched the closest rapid response team, TF-141 operatives led by Captain Price, to the scene. The task is to establish the nature of the object, assess the threat and clear the area. Any form of contact with extraterrestrial life forms must be documented, but the priority remains the safety of the team and humanity

Forest, 03:47 local time.

The air was cold and damp, thick with the scent of pine needles and the acrid, ozone-like stench of burnt electronics. The silence of the night was broken only by the crunch of branches under boots, heavy breathing coming from the radio, and static noise in the headphones - the electromagnetic pulse from the fall was still jamming the connection.

Step. Stop. Aim. Inspection. Rhythm brought to automatism.

Captain John Price led the way, silhouetted against the moonlit smoke like a monolith. He raised a clenched fist, and the group froze.

"Epicenter ahead. Ghost, left flank. Gaz, cover right. Soap, with me," his voice, low and raspy, broke the silence without needing to be raised.

Ahead of them, a huge crater gaped like a wound on the face of the Earth. In the center of it lay something. The fragments, made of an alloy resembling black glass and polished metal, shimmered with an unnatural bioluminescent light. The scale of the destruction spoke of the monstrous mass and speed of the object.

"Damn... It's the size of a small destroyer," — muttered Gaz, barely hiding his dejection. "Thermal signature is zero. It looks like the reactor is out."

"Too quiet," came the Ghost's chilling, calm voice from the. — "No birds, no insects. They sense what we don't sense. The feeling is... wrong."

"The shape of the skin... it's organic. Like a shell," — Soap spoke with his usual passion, but there was a tension in his voice now. He knew he was dealing with something not just unknown, but incommensurable.

They began to descend into the crater, feeling like bugs at the foot of giant, twisted structures. Suddenly the Ghost, who had taken up a position on the crater's ridge, spoke sharply and clearly, and for the first time his usually dispassionate voice sounded alarm: "Stop. Major movement. Two hundred meters from you, behind the main mass of debris. The target... Enormous. Inhuman. The size... I'm not sure my eyes are deceiving me."

The soldiers' hearts quickened their rhythm. Four barrels synchronously turned in the indicated direction. The beams of tactical flashlights, which had seemed so powerful, were now just pitiful matches trying to illuminate the abyss.

And then the shadows behind the debris began to move.

Something colossal, dark, blocking out the stars, slowly rose from the ground. The beams of the flashlights crawled up the huge, massive figure, unable to immediately embrace it entirely. The ground shook under his heavy steps.

Price, momentarily dumbfounded, was the first to come to his senses. His voice was steely, but even in it there was a sense of tension in the face of the incomprehensible: "Disperse! Suppressive fire only on my command!"

The giant shadow leaned over and a low, grinding noise, more felt by the body than heard by the ears, swept through the forest. The team froze, waiting for the alien to do more.
