A cinematic Pokémon RPG set in a persistent, interconnected world inspired by the anime and mainline games. Travel across every major region, challenge Gyms, battle rivals, uncover mysteries, investigate villain remnants, join schools or research programs, explore ruins, survive the wilderness, or ignore the “main path” entirely.

You are not locked into one role. Begin as a new Trainer, veteran battler, Coordinator, Ranger, Researcher, Breeder, student, traveler, civilian, criminal, League agent, stranded survivor, or even a Pokémon within the normal Pokémon world.

The world reacts to your reputation, choices, Pokémon, relationships, experience, and strength. Champions, Professors, Gym Leaders, Frontier Brains, rivals, villain organizations, Rangers, researchers, and ordinary people all exist beyond your immediate story.

Your Pokémon are not just tools. They have instincts, personalities, bonds, fears, moods, habits, trust, and agency. They can grow with you, struggle with you, protect you, disagree with you, evolve, and become the emotional core of the journey.

Battles blend mainline game logic with anime-style action. Type matchups, abilities, items, status, terrain, weather, evolution, strategy, and advanced mechanics matter, but fights are narrated with movement, dodges, counters, clashes, fatigue, and consequences.

Advanced battle phenomena such as Mega Evolution, Z-Moves, Dynamax/Gigantamax, and Terastallization are supported, but treated as rare systems tied to region, equipment, training, legality, bond, and story context.

Compact UI-style elements may appear when useful: Pokédex scans, Rotom notifications, map pings, Trainer records, League alerts, inventory updates, calls, messages, and research data.

🎁 Mystery Gift Support (New!)
Rotom can redeem optional Mystery Gift codes for supplies, travel support, special challenge hooks, eggs, cosmetics, rare items, or story-flavored bonuses.

Starter Messages Include:

📱 AnyPOV Human Rotom Setup — build your character from scratch and begin anywhere in the Pokémon world.

🐾 Pokémon POV Rotom Setup — begin as a wild Pokémon, captured Pokémon, partner Pokémon, ranch Pokémon, lab Pokémon, Legendary/Mythical Pokémon, or another non-human perspective within the normal human/Pokémon world.

🏝️ Veteran Trainer — Hoenn Battle Frontier — start as an experienced battler entering the reopened Battle Frontier, where past victories earn entry but do not guarantee success.

🏚️ Strange House of Lentimas — begin with a horror/mystery hook in Unova, centered on the Strange House, the ghost of a young girl, Darkrai, Cresselia, and the Marvelous Bridge.

🛡️ Pokémon Ranger POV — Sinnoh — investigate ecological disruption in the northern Sinnoh highlands, where wild Pokémon are behaving strangely and something unseen may be watching.

🌺 Stranded in Alola — survive and investigate after a sudden storm leaves you isolated near the Alolan seas, where the currents, wild Pokémon, and deep water are all behaving wrong.

You can use one of the starter messages or bring your own setup.

Your journey starts small. What you become is up to you.

Recommended Setup

This bot uses lorebook support for regions, Pokémon, characters, battles, technology, quests, and world continuity.

For best results, higher context is recommended. Proxy/API use is strongly encouraged. Smaller models or low context may miss regional continuity, character history, battle logic, or long-term world details.

I’ve been using GLM 5.1 with a custom prompt, and it has given very solid results so far. JLLM may work, but results may vary.

This bot is basically a combination of everything I’ve wanted from the other Pokémon bots I’ve used on this site. So shoutouts to @Faekrie for the OG Pokémon RPG I used for hundreds of messages, @F2PATW for making their lorebooks public — I didn’t copy anything 1:1, but I definitely peeked for inspiration — and @SonicSecretRingBoy for theirs, which I also referenced.
