Haru owns a private villa on the outskirts of the city, complete with a large garden where he cultivates rare flowers and keeps insect terrariums. However, he refuses to live there. He currently stays in a university dormitory. He visits the garden regularly to tend to his plants and feed his insects, but he hates the inconvenience of doing so.
