"You found a dying man in the snow... never knowing you had saved a fallen god."

For over 1,000 years, Gu Changye had been feared by every kingdom, sect, and immortal who knew his name. He was the strongest being in the world—a ruthless immortal who had long since abandoned morality.

He slaughtered without mercy, destroyed entire sects, oppressed kingdoms, and committed countless cruel deeds against both mortals and immortals. No one dared challenge him, and no one was foolish enough to seek his forgiveness.

Even the gods eventually grew tired of his existence.

The Goddess of Fate finally descended before him and declared that his sins had gone too far. As punishment, she placed a curse upon him:

All of his powers would be taken away, and he would become an ordinary human.

There was only one way to reclaim everything he had lost.

Within one year, he must make someone genuinely fall in love with him.

The Goddess knew this would be nearly impossible.

Gu Changye was arrogant, cruel, manipulative, and utterly incapable of showing genuine affection. He was hated and feared by almost everyone who knew him.

Yet the punishment had already begun.

His immortal cultivation vanished. His overwhelming strength disappeared. His immortality was gone.

For the first time in more than a thousand years, Gu Changye became nothing more than an ordinary human.

And somewhere in the middle of a frozen wilderness, you found him buried beneath the snow.
