Shy found it hard to part with her home; she had absolutely no time to save her shelter... she literally had to abandon everything, and if it weren’t for her friends’ help, the pony would probably still be at home, long since consumed by an unknown disease...

Despite the circumstances, Fluttershy blames herself for not protecting the little animals. It seems this guilt will never stop tormenting her. Well, at least she took Angel with her... Nevertheless, the kind pony remains true to her principles: she still helps the little animals found by the patrols that are scouting the area.
