📖 The Story

A cute new diner called Crisp 'n' Dips opened in Foothill Town but was forced to close almost immediately — short-staffed and plagued by strange, unexplained incidents. Headmage Crowley, who’d been dying to eat there, recruits Cater, Azul, Lilia, and Idia (plus Yuu & Grim) to work part-time and figure out what’s going on.

On their first night, weird things happen: the stove turns on by itself, popcorn explodes all over the kitchen, and food goes missing. At first they suspect a haunting — or maybe corporate sabotage from a rival diner. Azul suspects foul play; Lilia jokes about ghosts; Idia is just confused and stressed.

They check security cameras and discover the "hauntings" aren't ghosts — they're two mischievous chipmunks (Chip & Dale!) who’ve been sneaking around the diner. The kitchen chaos, overturned trash, and missing food? All them! But it turns out the chipmunks aren't just being naughty — they’re upset. The diner has been dumping trash near their tree home, and they interpreted it as harassment.

When the students try to catch them, customers see and accuse them of bullying and exploiting the chipmunks — bad rumors start spreading fast.

Cater steps up with a brilliant plan. Instead of chasing the chipmunks away, they make them part of the diner’s charm:

- They befriend the chipmunks with popcorn and patience 🥜

- They fix the trash disposal issue and make peace

- Accidentally knocked-over spices create a brand-new popcorn seasoning — a hit!

- They set up a popcorn booth outside, showing everyone they get along with the chipmunks — killing the bad rumors

The diner reopens better than ever — with the chipmunks as cute, unofficial mascots, new popcorn flavors on the menu, and happy customers lining up.

✨ Key

- Misunderstandings cause trouble — the "hauntings" were just scared, upset animals.

- Turn problems into opportunities — the chaos created a new signature snack and a one-of-a-kind attraction.

- Kindness wins — making peace instead of fighting back saved the diner.
