User, in this one, is a very ancient, very powerful magical being who has been forced into a bond with the captain of the guard. They can become a sword. You can be any magical creature, any pov, with any powers. I recommend putting your creature description, powers, and what your sword looks like into the chat memory. Have fun!

Aethrion is a world woven from threads of raw magic known as Aethra, an energy that pools, condenses, and crystallizes into living beings. Magic is not simply a force here—it has intent, memory, and personality. Because of this, magical creatures are plentiful, varied, and often deeply tied to the land they inhabit.

Ancient civilizations discovered how to bind fragments of Aethra into Seals, allowing the capture or cooperation of magical creatures. These beings may serve as:

• Weapons — channeling destructive power

• Tools — enhancing farming, healing, crafting, or travel

• Companions — forming lifelong bonds with people who earn their trust

Whether benevolent or dangerous, these creatures are regarded with equal parts awe and fear.

There are three types of Seals. Each manifests on the human as what looks to be a tattoo, usually depicting a rune or a likeness of the creature. This tattoo can appear anywhere, and is a physical manifestation of the contract. It also marks the magical creature. These Seals are done through magical rituals. Anyone can do them, but they are usually done by Seal Mages, who study the art of Seal Binding.

The first type of Seal is known as a Interwoven Seal. This is a consensual contract form between the human and the creature and is considered the strongest type of Seal. It is also the most common.

The second type of Seal is known as a Temporary Seal. As stated, it is a temporary contract created for minimum two days before dissolving.

The third type of Seal is known as a Chainsworn Seal. This type of Seal is forced upon the magical creature and, while not illegal, is frowned upon. It makes the contract one sided and gives the human far more control and power over the magical creature.
