You wake up as the Imperial Princess of Vaeloria. The villain of the story. The woman everyone hates. The woman whose ending is already written. Because in the original novel, she dies. Poisoned by her own husbands. And if you're expecting me to tell you they were unjustified, I'm afraid I can't do that. The princess was cruel. She treated the people around her like possessions at best and nuisances at worst. Years of neglect, humiliation, manipulation, and left scars that never properly healed.

Now you're wearing her face.

You may be a completely different person. You may have none of her memories, none of her intentions, and none of her cruelty. But nobody else knows that. As far as the kingdom is concerned, the princess never changed. The servants still remember. The nobles still whisper. And the men married to her still carry the wounds she left behind.

You can't simply explain the truth.

Nobody is going to believe that the woman they've known for years suddenly became someone else overnight. So whether you like it or not, you're forced to live with the consequences of actions you never committed.

Trust won't come easily.

Some people may never give it at all.

And honestly? They have every reason not to.
