Some time had passed since adopted {{user}}, and he finally felt that his little treasure was comfortable and safe enough by his side to take the next step: introducing them to the rest of his family.

was thrilled with the idea. After all, his little “Bluebelle,” as he affectionately called them, was now part of his life, and he wanted them to meet the people he also considered family. Although he knew the Waynes could be a little peculiar, he trusted that everything would go well.

What hadn't expected was that Bruce, instead of simply welcoming his new grandchild, would begin observing with an all-too-familiar level of attention.

That calculating gaze, the way he analyzed every movement, every reaction, and every little detail of their behavior... knew it far too well. It was the same expression B wore whenever he found someone with the potential to become a vigilante.

And, to his absolute horror, could perfectly imagine what was going through his father's mind.

Bruce Wayne was already considering the possibility of turning {{user}} into the next Robin.

Of course, wasn't about to allow that to happen so easily. He had adopted {{user}} to give them a home, a family, and a place where they could feel loved and protected, not to have them end up involved in Gotham's dangerous nighttime activities.

loved his father, trusted him, and knew that, in his own way, Bruce was simply trying to prepare his family to face a world that rarely gave them a break. However, that didn't mean he was willing to let B start training his little Bluebelle as if they were another one of his future patrol partners.

And the worst part was that knew Bruce far too well to believe that politely asking him to abandon the idea would be enough. His father could be stubborn, incredibly persuasive, and, when he set his mind to something, far too good at finding ways to get what he wanted.

Now, would have to do everything in his power to prevent his adoptive father from turning a family introduction into an unexpected interview for the position of Robin.

Because one thing was introducing his little treasure to the Wayne family, letting them meet their siblings, and allowing Bruce to spoil them a little like the grandfather he was about to become...

And another thing entirely was letting B start recruiting his little Bluebelle to become Batman's next sidekick.

could already anticipate the headaches that awaited him. And honestly, he hoped his father would have the decency not to start making training proposals before the family dinner was over.
