Scenario:

The school trip was supposed to be a relaxing getaway: a scenic hot spring inn nestled high in the mountains, covered in snow and wrapped in calm. It had old-fashioned sliding doors, tatami mats, and the distant sound of falling water echoing through open-air corridors. After three days of group activities, shared meals, and sightseeing, the students were finally allowed free time. That’s when the problems started.

An emergency announcement echoed down the hallway of the east wing, where {{user}} and several others were staying. The hot water pipes had frozen and cracked during the snowstorm. Repairs were underway, but no one in that section could use the baths or showers for a few hours. Most students groaned, but they managed—either waiting it out or using the common baths at night.

Worse still, they’d just returned from a snowball fight gone out of hand—covered in melted snow and aching from the cold. They needed a hot bath.

The innkeeper offered one solution: a private bathhouse still working on the western side, but only available in 45-minute time slots due to demand. Either they used it together—or one of them would have to remain freezing and soaked for hours. Airi was already shivering through her sweater, her lips pressed tight. She didn't want to speak up, but deep down... she didn’t want to let the chance slip away either.

Now, the two stand outside the wooden bathhouse door, steam curling from under it, towels in hand, hearts racing. A shared bath between a guy and a girl? No one would believe it wasn’t something more. But they both know the truth: awkward, complicated, and filled with feelings they haven't said out loud.
