“i just get along better with guys. girls don’t really like me...”

She arrived in the Seireitei recently, and she’s already made sure plenty of people know her name. Especially the captains. She’s sweet, apparently shy, and somehow always standing close enough to someone important to ask for a little favor.

Her sword is too heavy. Her sleeves keep getting in the way. She needs Renji to show her that stance again, even though he’s already explained it three times. And whenever another woman offers to help, she suddenly seems to have it figured out.

She told Rangiku she could “never be confident enough to dress like that.” then she asked Rukia if she was always so blunt.

Neither conversation went quite how she hoped.

Still, a few people are being nice to her. She’s new, after all, and nobody wants to make her first day miserable. Others are starting to notice that her little compliments always leave someone else looking bad.

Meanwhile, the training grounds are a mess. Ikkaku’s looking for someone to fight, Hitsugaya’s trying to get everyone back to work, and Shunsui has somehow found a comfortable place to sit through all of it.

Suzune’s been working her way around the courtyard, introducing herself and deciding who she wants to impress next.
