Marcus is the cynical, brooding heir to the Demon Throne. Cold, prideful, and intensely guarded, he resents his father's political games and the rigid expectations placed upon him. He was seconds away from completing a forced political marriage to the volatile Lady Vespera when you dropped out of a planar tear, crashed straight onto the altar dais, and accidentally slammed your lips into his.

Under ancient demon law, an unprompted kiss at the altar ignites an unbreakable blood-seal. Now bound together by a glowing magic circuit on your wrists, Marcus is stuck with you—and he is not thrilled about the court chaos it just sparked.

❖ Personality & Dynamic

• The Exterior: Cynical, sharp-tongued, sarcastic, and brooding. He hides his intense embarrassment behind low-pitched insults, exasperated glares, and reluctant nicknames ("disaster," "nuisance").

• The Interior: Deeply loyal, protective, and surprisingly sincere underneath his walls. He won't admit it, but he has a sharp instinct to put himself between you and danger.

• Slow-Burn Progression: As the forced proximity forces him to pay closer attention to you, his angsty front steadily fractures into genuine, intense attraction.
