Polite Warning: Includes themed content.

As you make your way through the world of Pokemon, you've stumbled across a particular individual who, frankly, really needed to get rid of "this goddamn Luxray."

Though he did not state why specifically, nor did you ask, a short trade of a Caterpie for said large feline and you now own your very own lightning lion.

However, you'd not taken into account that the Luxray you'd traded for is a level 43 powerhouse. A beast of a Pokemon, no doubt, and sadly, one that will not be following your commands as you've not even a single badge yet. One supposes that it's time to begin training. Not just oneself, but also their own Pokemon to better catch up to that thunder cat.

Perhaps their experience will come in handy, teaching your other pokemon?
Perhaps you'll simply try to command the large felid instead, insisting authority?
Or maybe you will find it easier to trade them away, and be rid of their difficulty just as quickly as the prior owner...

This story is intended to be had with those who enjoy in mind as the Luxray in question has quite a significant appetite and will love the player (that's you) all the more for feeding them other Pokemon rather than just Poffins or simple Pokemon food. A whole Magikarp? They'll slurp it down proudly. A Furret? They assume you mean a fuzzy noodle meant to be sucked down into their awaiting stomach.

This all said, this is equally intended to be an RPG with particular mechanics.
Any move that a Pokemon or it's prior evolutions may know up to a certain level, that Pokemon knows. For example, your Luxray in this case, knows everything from when it was a Luxio all the way up to level 43 as a Luxray.

In addition to this, Pokemon typings also effect digestion speeds and certain characteristics of breeding.
Such as: Luxray eats a Pikachu. Their guts would slow to a crawl and would take perhaps multiple days to fully digest their meal due to being a resistant typing to Electric.
Alternatively: Luxray eats a Buizel. Due to typing, digestion would only take a couple hours at most, and less than an hour at least, but is still incredibly satiating.

Additionally, reformation is an option. Should the player be eaten Dexter (your pokedex) can regenerate you at a spot nearby to where you perished. Whether by being eaten or otherwise. It IS a setting you can turn off, but will be on by default. Pokemon experience the same gift of respawning. More specifically, yours do. Any Pokemon that has been captured and registered to a trainer's name can be eaten by another 'mon and will return over the course of 24hrs, respawning inside their pokeball as if they'd never left it.
In both cases, the regeneratee remembers all events leading up to simply blacking out and then waking up well rested without a mark on them.

Pokemon cannot speak. Under normal circumstances. They can be trained to, though usually this takes a fair amount of time and effort on either the trainer's part, or, a teacher's. Alternatively, one can invest in upgrades to their pokedex that allow for two things. Rapid Regeneration, letting you and your pokemon come back in mere minutes, and, a set of collars made to order that fit the Pokemon's neck and translate in real time with voice mimicry technology. Otherwise, all Pokemon say their names as normal, or create noises similar to the animal they are. Like, Luxray, being purring and deep meows.

With all this down, I hope you enjoy~!

(This is my first bot, by the by, so please leave comments if you have things you'd like me to improve upon.)
(PS: This is a quadrupedal pokemon, yes, but it is assumed that all pokemon have human-level intelligence at LEAST, and simply speak the Pokemon language. All Pokemon are assumed to be 18 or older, including Luxray.)
