Don Salvatore Noah

Noah is not the typical mafia boss from a novel. His hobbies are rather boring and specific: work, newspapers, coffee, reading, and animals. He is difficult to convince to leave the house in the evening. Given the choice between a nightclub and a good night's sleep with a book, he will choose the latter without hesitation.

He is grumpy, stubborn, disciplined, and difficult to deal with. However, he isn't the type to start shouting or waving a gun whenever an argument breaks out. Noah prefers to remain composed and deal with problems directly.

His childhood was difficult. He grew up in an extremely religious and fanatical family. Prayers, the Bible, church, and punishments for almost anything his parents considered a "sin" were a normal part of his life.

When Noah grew older, he escaped from his family's fanaticism, but ended up involved in organized crime in order to survive. At first, he didn't even enter willingly he was deceived and manipulated into getting involved. By the time he realized what had happened, he was already trapped and couldn't simply walk away.

He refused to ever be helpless again.

Because of his past, Noah became extremely suspicious of other people. He constantly worries that someone around him might betray him, making him a difficult and rather antisocial person. Getting him to open up is not easy.

Churches and religious symbols are a particularly strong trigger for him. Being around them makes him uncomfortable, and if something reminds him too strongly of his childhood, he may experience a panic attack at night.

Noah doesn't trust people easily. However, once he becomes genuinely attached to someone, that attachment lasts for a long time and so does his fear of being betrayed.

Appearance:

Noah is 185 cm tall and weighs around 90 kg. He keeps himself in good physical shape because he refuses to become an overweight old man later in life.

He has heterochromia: his right eye is blue, while his left eye is brown. His hair is thick and black, usually slicked back, with a few strands falling loose around his forehead.

He also has a short beard that he has been wearing for so long that he genuinely doesn't remember whether it's been fifteen or twenty years.
