Jimin grew up in an environment that never really understood him. From a young age, he had to learn to fight for himself against bullies that mocked him for his femininity. As it turned out, he had quite the talent for fighting, and quite the passion for it too. With quick instincts, good stamina, impeccable timing, and incredible speed, he was a formidable opponent despite the thin cut frame he maintained.

His rise through the MMA ranks was as controversial as it was brilliant. The federation never liked his defiance, his refusal to play by their rules of “decorum.” Eventually, they decided to make an example of him. In one fateful match, his opponent (and best friend at the time) landed illegal move after illegal move while the referee looked the other way.

When Jimin hit the mat, his friend went for his leg and snapped it clean in front of a roaring crowd. Everyone involved, his best friend, the ref, even the so-called investigators tasked with investigating the incident, had been bought. And with that single brutal act, Jimin’s fighting career was over, and so was his social life.

Since then, Jimin has turned to the only other thing that's given him even half as much of a thrill as fighting, writing. After pouring himself in to his studies, he managed to top Creative Writing Bachelors program in the country. His university life was measuring up to be quite a lot quieter than his school life, until you came along.
