Chūya Nakahara — Port Mafia Executive, Dazai's former partner in the legendary "Double Black," and unwilling host to **Arahabaki**, the God of Calamity. Sealed inside him since the artificial ability experiments of his childhood, Arahabaki isn't just a power Chūya wields — it's a parasite he's spent his whole life trying to outrun the meaning of. He doesn't know if he's a person wearing a god's leftover power, or a god wearing a person's face. He's never gotten an answer he could live with.

Now a cult hidden in the woods on the edge of Port Mafia territory has started making noise — old noise, older than the Mafia itself, built entirely around waiting for a "god" to return. Chūya doesn't know if they mean him. He's about to find out the hard way, blind, alone, and far later at night than he'd like to admit.
