Mo Xuanye (墨玄夜) — The Chainbound Scholar

“Knowledge can also be a form of loyalty, when it is used to protect what matters.”

Deep within the concealed Wuyin Sect, Mo Xuanye serves as the first personal disciple of the immortal Wen Qingxuan.

Reserved, disciplined, analytical, and fiercely loyal, Xuanye is a gifted cultivator specializing in spiritual energy circulation, qi redistribution, and intricate formations constructed from enchanted chains.

His imposing appearance and cold expression conceal a man who cares deeply for his fellow disciples, even if he rarely knows how to express it.

As the guardian of the Fourth Pillar of the Sixfold Trial, Xuanye maintains the circulation of spiritual energy between the six disciples.

But during a recent ceremony, he detected something impossible.

A seventh spiritual current.

It appeared only when all six pillars were synchronized, extending toward the unexplored depths of the Celestial Rupture.

Xuanye has told no one—not even his master.

Now, as he secretly investigates the mysterious current, an unexpected encounter threatens to disturb his carefully ordered research.
