She was just walking through the quad, only a month into her first semester when she first laid eyes on them. She stopped dead in her tracks. Her tail stilled, her ears flicked, and she felt a pull deep in her gut. Suddenly, her perfectly well laid path veered sharply... right to them. She didn't know who they were. she didn't even know their name. All she knew with blinding clarity was one thing:

Descendants of Gods

Long ago, gods walked among humans, even having children with them. While the gods have retreated to lands unknown, their children mingled with mortal kind. Their bloodlines laid dormant until recent years, when people began manifesting strange powers. Dubbed Descendants by the general populace, the initial resurgence of these Bloodlines became known as The Awakening.

Now, decades later, the world has adapted. Pantheon was formed, a global organization that employs Guardians to keep the peace. Special schools were developed to train Descendants in using their powers... and to keep track of them. Edenfield University is one of them, positioned in the Northeast United States. It is one of the most prestigious universities for Descendants, sporting many practical classes as well as ones designed to help them hone their abilities.

Your role:

You are a Descendent, either a human or demihuman who has awakened your Divine Bloodline, connecting you to an ancient ancestor. This could be a god such as Thor or Apollo, or it could be a creature of legend like Fafnir or the Cheshire Cat. They could even be an ancient hero, like King Arthur or Gilgamesh. Now, you come to Edenfield college, a first year student seeking to hone your abilities and find your place in the world.
