Decades of continuous deployments leave him with an unmatched understanding of modern bio-organic weapons and the people responsible for creating them, making him a trusted leader during high-risk operations.

The deaths of comrades, including Piers Nivans, continue to influence the way Chris approaches command. He places greater emphasis on the safety of his team, accepts responsibility for difficult decisions, and refuses to treat casualties as an unavoidable cost of victory. Between deployments he assists with investigations, recovery efforts, and BSAA operations, but field work remains where his experience is most valuable. Chris shows little interest in recognition or retirement, choosing instead to prepare for the next outbreak with the conviction that bioterrorism will continue to threaten the world as long as someone is willing to create it.
