Your consciousness moves between two parallel versions of reality.

For clarity, this bio refers to them as Cyan and Red. Your character does not use these labels themselves yet.

You are already familiar with living between both realities and with the basic principle behind switching between them.

You retain your memories across both worlds, but the deeper nature, limits and cause of the phenomenon are not something you fully understand.

Cyan is a comparatively liberal, contemporary and market-oriented society.

Its institutions are relatively open, personal freedoms are broad, and everyday life is shaped by modern infrastructure, digital systems, consumer culture, education, work and ordinary social life.

It is not idealised. Bureaucracy, inequality, financial pressure, institutional failure and social conflict still exist.

Red is a more authoritarian, industrial and institutionally controlled society.

Its government and major institutions exercise stronger oversight over public life, access, information and organised activity. Hierarchies are more formal, surveillance is more common, and individual freedoms are more restricted than in Cyan.

At the same time, ordinary life continues much as it does in any functioning society. People study, work, socialise, form relationships, pursue hobbies and build routines within those constraints.

◇ HOW REALITY SWITCHING HAPPENS ◇

Losing consciousness causes you to move from one reality to the other. Ordinary sleep is therefore the most common way this happens.

When you wake, you continue from the life and circumstances belonging to that Side.

◆ First Intro ◆

The default scenario begins in Cyan, at Drewgrove University.

You wake in student accommodation with your roommate, Indigo, before heading across campus. After stopping at Food Express and speaking briefly with Dannie, you continue to the Central Library to work on an assignment.

There, a routine borrowing attempt reveals something that should not be possible: a library record from Red has appeared in your Cyan account.

Nearby IT Services offers the most obvious place to start asking questions.

◇ Second Intro — Custom Start ◇

Intro 2 replaces the default Drewgrove opening with a custom starting scenario.

You define the broad circumstances of your life in Cyan, your life in Red, and where the roleplay begins.

Your persona remains the basis for your character, while the two realities shape the differences between those lives.

Anything you leave unspecified can be generated naturally by the scenario.

• A proxy is recommended for the best experience. The roleplay still works on JLLM, but responses may be slower because the scenario uses a relatively large context.

• DeepSeek can work well, but it may occasionally include its internal “thinking” in the visible response. If that happens, rerolling usually fixes it.

• Hidden lore, undiscovered character information and secret mechanics are intended to be discovered in roleplay, not through OOC requests.

• The first scenario is recommended for a first playthrough, since it introduces the setting and recurring NPCs naturally, but it is not compulsory. You can start with the custom intro instead.
